Jeannine Paul

Jeannine Paul, 91, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Jeannine was born October 8, 1932 to Louis and Hazel (Arndt) Pollesch. She was the second born of 14 children and baptized at the County Line Church in the Township of Fox Lake. Jeannine was later confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Markesan. She was a 1950 graduate of Waupun High School. On October 19, 1952 she was united in marriage to Lawrence Paul at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fox Lake. Jeannine spent much of her career working for the State of Wisconsin in Corrections. After Lawrence and Jeannine retired, God blessed them with the opportunity to travel to Africa where they visited their daughter and son-in-law. Together they explored Europe and England and took multiple guided tour trips throughout the United States. Two of Jeannine’s passions were rug hooking and flower gardening. These hobbies gave her an outlet to express her artistic abilities and her eye for color. Both hobbies brought her immense joy. Many of her rug works of art can be found in the homes of her children and grandchildren. Jeannine’s children will always be thankful that their parents provided them with the best gift ever, which was to know and believe in their Resurrected Savior from sin and to hold onto the sure and certain hope that they will all be reunited in Heaven someday. Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence, sons Terry Paul and Mark Paul, grandson-in-law Brian Olson, siblings: Dean Pollesch, Mary Spindler, Loren Pollesch, Gaya Mittelstadt, Gloria Woock, Kenneth Pollesch, and Rochelle Seering. Jeannine is survived by her children: Kim (Charles) Papenfuss, Steve (Diane) Paul, Neal (Linda) Paul, Daughters-in-law Corinne Paul and Marcia Paul, 14 grandchildren: Kirsten (Josh) Tice, Allison (David) Schwantes, Meredith Paul, Erin (Charles) Parise, Nathan (Carmen) Papenfuss, Brian (Laurel) Papenfuss, Katie (Steve) Blank, Jon (Vicki) Paul, Jess (Scott) Marshall, Rhea (Fernando) Sanchez, Gabriel (Sara) Paul, Terrah Paul-Olson, Jordan (Liz) Paul, Micah (Matoli) Paul, and 28 greatgrandchildren. Jeannine is further survived by her 6 siblings: Darrell (Dorothy) Pollesch, Lynn (Bobbie) Pollesch, Rodger (Sharon) Pollesch, Carol (John) Cate, Sharon Pesch-Weslowski, and Janice (Jon) Downs. Jeannine’s children would like to express thanks to the staff at The Manor for their kindness, patience, and help with mom through this difficult time of mom’s life. The family also extends their gratitude to the staff of SSM Hospice Care organization for caring for and keeping Jeannine comfortable and peaceful in her final days. Lutheran Church 1010 Adams Avenue North Fond du Lac, WI 54937. Pastor Michael Kampman and Pastor Elijah Ehlert will officiate. SERVICE: Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church.
