Vicki L. Babler

Vicki L. Babler, 69, of Oshkosh, died on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Bethel Home in Oshkosh, after a short but fierce battle with Bone Cancer. She was born on February 16, 1954, in Baraboo, WI, the daughter of Eugene and Shirley Olsen Dehler. She was a graduate of Oshkosh High School, Class of 1972. On June 26, 1976, she married Dennis L. Babler. Vicki was a member of Martin Lutheran Church in Oshkosh. She worked at Plexus Corporation in Neenah as an assembler for 21 years, retiring in 2016. Vicki enjoyed crossword puzzles, and loved to go to rock concerts with her husband and son, especially listening to her favorite band Godsmack! She was an avid Badger/Packer fan. She enjoyed texting her sister-in-law Susie on Packers game day, occasionally enjoying a cold Coors Light. Holidays were always special, especially Christmas, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a proud grandma, and loved spending her time with her granddaughter, Ava. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dennis Babler of Oshkosh, her son Ryan (Amber) Babler of Oshkosh, her granddaughter Ava Babler, her sister Sherri (Mark) Kaltenbach of Lakeview, MN, her brother Jeff (special friend Tammy) Dehler of Oshkosh, her brothers and sisters-in-law: Susan (Terry) Anderson of New Ulm, MN and David (Trisha) Babler of Van Dyne; her nieces and nephews: Jason (Kristin) Paulick of Oakfield, Scott (special friend Kelly) Paulick of Lakeville, MN, Caitlin (special friend Lance) Paulick of Oshkosh, Austin Dehler of Oshkosh, Zack (Brandi) Dehler of Neshkoro, Tyler (special friend Kelsey) Babler of Van Dyne, Caroline (fiancé Jake) Babler of Van Dyne and Travis (Jennifer) Cordes of Prior Lake, MN; her great nieces and nephews: Jayda, Conrad, Lauren, Maxwell, Ryder, Maelynn and Noah. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Michael, brother-in-law Bruce Paulick, her father and mother-in-law Lyle and Joyce Babler. VISITATION: The family will greet friends from 11:00 – 1:00 PM, on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Martin Luther Church, 1526 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh, WI. SERVICE: Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Martin Luther Church, with Rev. Thomas Voss officiating. Inurnment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Van Dyne. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel Kaiser PCP, Theda Care Cancer Center, Theda Care Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial appreciated to Martin Luther Church, Oshkosh.
