Wallene Maureno Frazier III

Wallene Maureno Frazier, III, was lovingly referred to as Reno, using a segment of his middle name. Wallene Maureno Frazier, III made the final grand appearance for his mother, father, and older siblings, on November 15, 1974, at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. He was the third and last child born to Wallene Frazier, Jr. and Rufus Lee Gipson Frazier. Wallene Maureno Frazier, III, and his family relocated to Fond du Lac, WI from Chicago, IL in 1979. Their new residence came as a request from a client with Fond du Lac Bumper Exchange who asked his father to move the bumper repair shop business to Fond du Lac, WI, and work for him. Reno, at an early age, attended Grace Reformed Church in Fond du Lac, WI. He grew in faith attending church. Reno attended Chegwin Elementary School. Maureno was promoted to the next grade and transferred to middle school where he enrolled at Sabish and Parkside Middle School. Reno adapted to this new experience and became more comfortable in this environment. Reno attended Lowell P. Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, WI. He loved to participate in sports, especially football. He also enjoyed bowling. Reno had an endearing smile, a pleasing personality, and an infectious laugh that you just could not miss. These characteristics won over his high school classmates and the entire Fond du Lac, WI community. Reno became an apprentice to his father. Wallene Jr. owned a bumper repair shop business (sandblasting/painting/repairing). Reno worked for several years with his father’s bumper repair business. He was taught well. The family had another establishment, an urban clothing store that also sold his aunt’s ceramics. This outlet created by his father would be given the name, “Reno’s” in honor of the younger son. Reno leaves to cherish: Remembering him with love and precious memories are; devoted loving parents, Rufus Lee and Wallene Frazier, Jr.: a loving sister Daisy, a cousin-sister, Lorraine Jones, and a host of aunts, uncles cousins, other relatives, special friends and colleagues. He was preceded in death by; maternal grandparents, Josephine and Rowan Gipson, great grandmother, Daisy “Big Mama” Hegward; paternal grandparents; Elizabeth and Wallene Frazier, Sr.; his brother, Anthony M. Frazier; an aunt-sister, Jurosia “Shane” Gipson.
