Albertha S. Witt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Albertha S. Witt, 89, of Fond du Lac, died on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Harbor Haven. She was born on August 11, 1932, in Almond, Wisconsin, the daughter of Otto and Marye Rose Henke. She graduated from Juneau High School, Class of 1950. On June 28, 1952, she married David Witt. He preceded her in death. Albertha was a member at First Baptist Church of Fond du Lac, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School. She retired from Electric-Wire of Waupun in 2000. In her spare time, Albertha enjoyed gardening and reading. She is survived by her children: Nancy Witt of Fond du Lac, Pastor Larry (Penny) Witt of Fond du Lac, Barbara (Daniel) Holman of Tomah, her grandchildren: David (Samantha) Witt, Ryan (Betsy) Witt, Aaron (Caitlin) Witt, Bethany (Caleb) Pralle, Christie (fiancé Cameron) Holman, Brittany (Devin) Starr, Courtney Holman, 14 great-grandchildren, her brother Robert (Velma) Henke of Wisconsin Rapids. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Wanda Witt, seven sisters and four brothers. The family would like to thank the staff at Harbor Haven for the care and compassion shown to Albertha. SERVICE: Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 721 East Scott Street, Fond du Lac. Inurnment will take place at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church.
