Carol Ann Marschall

June 14, 1939 - February 28, 2022

Carol A. Marschall, 82, of Rosendale, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on June 14, 1939, in North Fond du Lac, the daughter of the late Harold and Esther (Bitters) Anderson. On August 5, 1961 she married Donald W. Marschall at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Carol was a beautician and homemaker. She was a Brownie Leader, a member of Peace Lutheran Church, was in the ladies group and church choir. She was a lifelong lover of water and sun and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, playing games with family and friends, floating on a lake in an innertube, and Laconia and UW Oshkosh basketball games. Family and God were Carol’s top priorities! Carol always had a smile, enjoyed laughter, was able to meet people easily and was the life of the party. She was most generous to everyone she met. To know her was to love her! Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Donald Marschall “best husband in the world”, (per Carol); four children, Julie (Jay) Wittchow of Rosendale, Pam (David) Michael of Phoenix, Arizona, Bernadine (Terry) Flesch of Fond du Lac and Rick (Jessica) Marschall of Fredericksburg, Virginia; 13 grandchildren, Zach (Ali), Ali Mae (Nick Geiger), Brett, Caden, Shaylee Grace, Kelsi, Kaelyn (Brett Pagel), Caroline, Katie, Alex, Will and Annabelle; great-grandchildren, Magnolia, Poppy and Lila, Payton, Miles and two more on the way; a sister-in-law - Sue Marschall; a son-in-law, Mark Skupas, Evan Jensen (Father of Lila and Payton) and other relatives, friends and her constant companion, Spunky. She loved them all! Carol was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bernard (Betty) and Marty (Susie) Anderson; a sister, Delight (Ed) Sweeney; three brothers-in-law, Louie (Chick), Cal (Betty), James Marschall and a sister-in-law, Gloria (Rodger) Zimmerman. VISITATION: The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Peace Lutheran Church, 124 S. Main Street, Rosendale. SERVICE: Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Tom White officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at a later date in Rosendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be determined at a later time. “Please give me a party after the Service in the cafeteria. ‘Life Is But a Vapor … Eternity is forever.’ I hope to see you all in Heaven.” - Carol
