Elroy J. Huebschman

Elroy J. Huebschman, 90, of North Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born on March 21, 1929, in the Town of Calumet, the son of Arlin and Ethel Strebe Huebschman. Elroy served in the United States Army and was stationed in France during the Korean War. On May 4, 1957, he married Constance “Connie” M. Rieder, at St. John the Baptist in Johnsburg. Elroy worked as a truck mechanic at Service Motors for over 40 years. He was a member of Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. Elroy lifelong love of baseball began as a young mane when he played in the East Shore League in Columbia Park. One of his great enjoyments was cheering on the Milwaukee Brewers. He is survived by his wife, Connie Huebschman of North Fond du Lac, his children: Joanne (Al) Alevizos of Elmhurst, Jean (Lee) Janssen of Fond du Lac, Sandy (Jon) Summerbell of Glen Ellyn, IL, Rick (Mary Bonfiglio) Huebschman of Whitefish Bay, and Scott (Sherry) Huebschman of Brandon; nine grandchildren: Aubrey (Jason) Thielenhouse, Anna Wangler, Sam (fiancé Zach) Alevizos, Colin Janssen, Marisa (fiancé Frank) Janssen, Arlin Bonfiglio, Jim (Kaelyn) Huebschman, Jacob Huebschman and Karlie (John) Shafer III; his great-grandchildren: Zack and Jake Thielenhouse and Kinsley Huebschman; his two sisters: Mary (Karl) Krueger of Fond du Lac and Nancy (Joe) Murphy of Eden; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, David (Rita) Huebschman, and his sister, Marlene (Tony) Schneider. Private family services will take place. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Hospice Home of Hope.
