Janet "Jan" J. Fink

June 20, 1933 - May 28, 2021

Janet June (Schwersinske) Fink, 87, of Fond du Lac, went peacefully into the arms of the Lord, on May 28, 2021, at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation. Jan was born on June 20, 1933, to the late Arden Schwersinske and the late Lucile (Panger) Schwersinske. On June 15, 1949, Jan married Mylan Clarence Fink Sr. in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and he preceded her in death on December 16, 1996. Jan enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, participating in Red Hat Society, Christian Women, the "Lunch-a-bunch" group and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. Jan will be missed by her five children, Catherine (Steven) Cox of Ashwaubenon, Linda (Samuel Sr) Kollmann of Fond du Lac, Deborah (Randall) Abitz of Fond du Lac, Mylan (Michelle) Fink Jr of Mount Calvary, and Natalie (Tom) Abler of Taycheedah. She will be missed by sisters-in-law Barbara Schwersinske, Patricia Bacon, Dee Trepanier, Audrey Fink and Dorothy Fink, and several nieces and nephews. Jan was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Mylan Fink Sr, her longtime companion of thirteen years, Joseph Leviri, half-brother Richard Frank, brothers John (Jack) Schwersinske, and Arden Schwersinske Jr. Chaplin Peter Capoyianes of Salem United Methodist Church will be officiating a private family funeral service on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Kurki Funeral Chapel in Fond du Lac. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service at Ledgeview Memorial Park. Jan's family would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the amazing staff, nurses and doctors at Harbor Haven and St Agnes Hospital.
