Jeffrey A. Eckert, 66, of Fond du Lac entered comfortably into his heavenly home on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee after an extended battle of complications following heart surgery. He was born on November 16, 1955, in Milwaukee the son of the late Alfred and Pricilla (Graeber) Eckert. Jeffrey married Pamela Ellie on May 23, 1992, at Divine Redeemer in Hartland. If you were blessed to know Jeff you could always see his faith in God in all he did. “J-O-Y” (Jesus, Others, Yourself) was always his motto. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Rose, who was the love of his life; five children, Jeffrey and Eric Eckert, Amanda (Noel) Hackbarth, Bradley (Jessica) Schumacher and Benjamin (Kayla) Schumacher; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Hunter), Jasmine (Robby), Keith, Michael, Ellie, Jace, Gabriella and Colton; a great-granddaughter, Lilyanna, sisters, cousins and close friends that were special to him. VISITATION: The family will greet family and friends from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Ave, North Fond Du Lac. Visitation will continue on Friday at the church from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. SERVICE: Celebration of life eternal will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. Michael Kampman and Rev. Elijah Ehlert officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church are appreciated.
