Michael "Cooter" A. Mischo

Michael “Cooter” A. Mischo, 62, of North Fond du Lac, died on Friday, December 11, 2020, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on January 23, 1958, in Fond du Lac, the son of Frederick and Elizabeth Miller Mischo. He graduated from Moraine Park Technical College and worked as an auto mechanic at various shops in Fond du Lac. He loved anything that could drive fast, including motorcycles and drag racing. He is survived by his daughter Amy (Special Friend Christian Boehning) Batura of Fond du Lac, his grandchildren: Emma Batura, Judith Boehning and Evan Boehning; his siblings: James (Diana) Mischo of Campbellsport, Thomas (Ruth) Mischo of Lomira, Dave (JoAnn) Mischo of Fond du Lac, Kathy (Ed) Braun of Taycheedah and Christine Mischo of Sheboygan; his other “brother” John (Terry) Turner of Appleton; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Robert Mischo and his “brother-in-law” Dennis Drexler. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the family. Special thanks to Mt. Calvary and Fond du Lac rescue squads and the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department for their care, his friends Bob and Darlene Zimmerman and the staff in the Emergency Department at St. Agnes for the care shown to Cooter and his family.
