Michael "Mike" A. Kulaga

January 20, 1961 - April 26, 2022

Michael “Mike” Alex Kulaga, 61, of Fond du Lac, WI, was born to eternal life on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at his home in Fond du Lac. Michael was born January 20, 1961, in Fond du Lac, WI, the youngest child of Charles and Myra Gusse Kulaga. He graduated from Goodrich High School, attending MPTC for coursework. In his younger years, Mike worked at the family business, Kulaga Standard Service, and later Rueping Leather and Brenner Tank. Mike hunted and fished, but in later years liked socializing best with friends and family. He was always ready for the annual trip to Wisconsin Dells and a great steak dinner. Mike will always be remembered for the great love he had for family, for his dog, Duchess, and the many friends he gathered throughout his lifetime. He was a kind, gentle man, saying kind words and showing generosity whenever he was able to contribute. A man of steadfast faith, he was often heard coaching others, that "God will take care of us". Mike is survived by his siblings: Richard (Patti) Kulaga, Karen Kraus of Eldorado, WI, Marcia (George, Jr.) Paluga; one niece, Tammy (Larry) Pitts; three nephews, Robert J. Kraus II, Andrew Paluga, Kevin Paluga; one great-nephew, Nicholas Pitts and one great-niece, Grace Pitts; many friends and acquaintances. Mike was predeceased by his parents, his brother-in-law, Robert J Kraus of Eldorado, WI. VISITATION: The family will greet friends on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, 20 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac. SERVICE: Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Tom Meyer officiating. Cremation has taken place. The family thanks Don and Chris Kurki and staff from Kurki Funeral Chapel for the compassionate care given to the family.
