Robert “Bob” C. Welling, 70, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 20, 2021. He was born on June 26, 1950, in Fond du Lac, the son of Robert M. and Patricia L. (Sodey) Welling. Bob was a 1968 graduate of St. Mary’s Springs Academy. Bob was a quiet man who loved to grow plants, which was very apparent all over his yard. His flowers, plants, and trees were his passion. He would spend hours just sitting in his yard drawing, writing and admiring his yard. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Bob is survived by his sisters: Kristine “K.C.” (Stan) Weber and Cindy (Troy) Riggs; his nieces and nephews: Robert "R.J." Rabe, Danielle (Bobby) Rickmeyer, Morgan (Ryan) Bernard and Jesse (Tabbie) Weber. He is preceded in death by his parents. At Bob’s request, cremation will take place.
