Susan L. Harr

July 29, 1957 - January 18, 2022

Susan L. Harr, 64, of Fond du Lac, passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital. Susie bravely fought cancer. She truly was an inspiration to her family. Sue was born July 29, 1957, in WI, the daughter of JoAnne Harr (Ziegler) and Harold Harr. She graduated from Homer Hannah High School in Brownsville TX. Sue enlisted in the US Air Force, where she was a sergeant. She later attended Marian College and Moraine Park Technical College. Sue worked for over 20 years at US Chrome, Fond du Lac, until her health issues forced her into early retirement. She enjoyed her job and worked with some great people, with whom she remained friends. Sue is survived by one grandson, Kailer Gibes. She is also survived by siblings: Jody (Gary) Bloedorn, Jon Harr, Matt (Gretchen May) Harr, sister-in-law Bonnie Harr, brother-in-law David Warner, and nieces and nephews, Brook, Seth, Jacob, Jason, Laura, Kellianne, Randy, Maggie, Dustin, Neil, Ryan, Jeremy, Emma. Sue is preceded in death by her son, Joel Harr; her parents; her brother Rodney Harr, her sister Peggy Warner, and one nephew, Daniel Robison. Sue's family would like to thank the Cancer Center of Fond du lac for the exceptional care they gave her over the past few years. They made her feel very special, which she was. We would also like to thank St Agnes Hospital and their staff who were superb in the care they provided over the last 12 days of her life. Thank you to her friends and neighbors who helped make her life easier and checked in on her regularly. That was a God-send. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid concerns, there will be no funeral services. Inurnment of cremains will take place at Elmgrove Cemetery, Pulaski Wisconsin at a later date. Memorials can be directed to Salvation Army or Hope Lutheran Church Pre-School in Susie's name.
