William "Bill" R. Walker

William “Bill” R. Walker, 67, of North Fond du Lac, died on Friday, January 21, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on February 3, 1954, in Sendai, Japan, the son of Robert and Hiroe Shoni Walker. He was a graduate of L.P. Goodrich High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, as an expert marksman, and was stationed in Italy. Bill worked as a brakeman/conductor for Chicago Northwestern, then AT&T, and was currently employed at Charter Spectrum Communication. He was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, and served on various committees. Bill was a Scout Master in North Fond du Lac for 25 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, enjoyed eating kimchi, playing tricks on people, and above all else, making people happy. He is survived by his children: Trevor (Stacy) Walker of San Antonio, TX, Trent (Holly) Walker of Fond du Lac, and Derek Scholler of Fond du Lac; his grandchildren: Nicholas Walker of Sheboygan and Nicole (Evan) McWilliams of Joint Lewis-McChord, WA; his great-grandson Ayden Walker, his mother Hiroe Walker, his siblings: Nancy (Walter) Snyder, Donna Bauer and Michael Walker all of Fond du Lac; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. He is preceded in death by his father, two sons: Trell and Troy Walker. VISITATION: The family will greet guests from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, 210 Wisconsin American Drive, Fond du Lac. MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR THOSE IN ATTENDANCE. SERVICE: Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, with Rev. Tom Meyer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial appreciated to Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church or the Boys and Girls Club of Fond du Lac.
