Bryan R. Giese

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our Bryan, on Sunday, May 5th, 2024. Bryan Robert Giese, 49, was born to Robert and Phyllis (Runge) Giese on December 20th, 1974, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Bryan was baptized, confirmed, and a member of Faith Lutheran Church where he attended elementary school and later graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy, Class of 1993. Bryan grew up going on jobs and working with his dad, even if he could only lift a half pail of mortar at a time, he was always building. He was currently working with his son Brandyn and his brother Rob, at Rob Giese Construction Services and was also a co-owner of storage rentals with his dad and brother, Rob. Bryan's work ethic, expertise, and pride he showed in his work will live on through many of us for years to come. Bryan was the kind of person that if you needed something he would be there. You could count on him no matter what. Before working with Rob, Bryan worked for Mark Cardinal Concrete. So, if you live in the City of Fond du Lac, there is a good chance Bryan had a part in the building of your basement or repairing it. Bryan enjoyed buying and fixing up Honda 3-wheelers, riding dirt bikes and snowmobiles. He also enjoyed his UTV trips and hunting with his buddies at the hunting shack. Bryan was a special son, brother, father, uncle, and grandpa loved by all and will truly be missed. He was a quiet, gentle soul who left an impression on everyone he met through his sense of humor and witty one-liners. Our family get togethers will never be the same. Bryan is survived by his sons, Brandyn (Haley) Giese and granddaughter Lennyn Giese, Drake Giese; parents Robert and Phyllis Giese; brother Rob (April) Giese and their children Hannah, Macie, Codie, and Kaleb; sister Amy (Kurt) Zabolski and their children Willow and Violet; aunts and uncles Dick and Mary Runge, Bill and Lynette Runge, Sandra Dreifuerst, John and Ann Giese; many cousins and lifelong friends. Proceeding him in death Grandparents Gerhard and Johanna Runge, Yvonne and Dale Gilmore, Wilbur and Joyce Giese; Uncle Don Dreifuerst. VISITATION: The family will greet friends and relatives from 4:00 – 6:30 PM on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 55 Prairie Road, Fond du Lac. SERVICE: Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 PM on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, with Rev. Michael Weigand officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Bryan’s name. Thank you for the outpouring of kindness, memories, and unconditional support of our family through this challenging time.
