On Friday, June 9, 2023, after a brief fight with cancer, my daughter “Jackie” went to join her father in their Eternal home. Jackie was born March 10, 1963 to us, James and Janet (Berg) Schaeve. She was a beautiful child, full of love, smiles and a little “spunk” which everyone loved! Jackie attended Fond du Lac public schools and St. Mary’s Springs, Class of 1981. On June 6, 1981, she married James Mathews Jr. and they were blessed with three loving children. On October 8, 2004, Jackie married Richard Webster Sr. and welcomed his three children into the family. Raising her family kept her busy. She enjoyed doing crafts, watching Packer games, and going to the casino. She loved cardinals, gardening, and her fur babies. Above all, she loved everything Christmas and all the music, decorating, and Hallmark movies. Surviving Jackie are her mother Jan Schaeve, her husband Rich, her children: James (Tabatha) Mathews III, Ashley (Robert) Dyer and Jennifer (Adam) Wilkens; grandchildren: Paige and Megan Mathews, Gabriella, Kennedy and Liam Dyer, and Mallory and Mackenzie Wilkens; also Amanda, Richard and Rebecca (her husbands children). She is further survived by brothers: James (Kathy) Schaeve and Joel (Jennifer) Schaeve; her sisters: Julie (John) Schmitz and Jeanine (Jesse) Egan. Her fur babies: Elsa, Sophie, Titan and Maddie will miss her too. Other survivors she leaves behind are 10 nieces and nephews, and Aunt Pat Reitz and Uncle Butch (Dale) Schaeve and cousins. Jackilyn was preceded in death by her father James Schaeve, grandparents, Aunt Fern Searl, Aunt Ginna Putz, in-laws Georgia Pettis, Phyllis and James Mathews. Please join us in prayer as we say goodbye to Jackie as she climbs her “Stairway to Heaven.” VISITATION: The family will greet friends from 10:00 – 12:00 PM, on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery, 686 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac. SERVICE: Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will follow after.
