Jeanette Marie Mueller

Jeanette Marie Mueller, 76, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, with her loving children at her side.She was born on November 8, 1931, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of the late John Marten and Lauretta Louise Hageman Kirschenstein, of Eden, where they farmed. Jeanette graduated from Campbellsport High School in 1949.Jeanette married Clarence Henry Franklin “Butch” Mueller on July 29, 1950, at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac, and together, they made their home east of Fond du Lac.She worked at Mammoth Springs Canning Company, Eden and at Kopper Kettle as a waitress and occasionally a bartender. She assisted her husband with their business, Mueller Livestock Trucking.Jeanette was a full-time homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to cook, can foods, knit, gaming, attend monthly dinners with her cousins, and to socialize with her family and friends. Along with her children, the grandchildren and great-grandsons brought joy into her life.Jeanette and Clarence were blessed with six children, five of whom survive her: Orin (Carol) Mueller, Karen (Joseph) Rieder, Joan Kranig (Mike Fritz), Ray (Kim) Mueller, Eugene Mueller; grandchildren: Laura (Jason) Schneider, Theodore (fiance Erin Gardner) Mueller, Nicholas Rieder, Michelle (Mark) Fisher, Melissa Kranig, Maureen (Kevin) Amerling, Corey Mueller, Gina Kreif, Kelly Kreif; great-grandsons: Calvin Schneider and Andrew Fisher; step-grandsons: Vincent and Angelo Digiorgio; step-mother-in-law, Margaret Mueller; sisters-in-law: Virginia Rabe, Irene Mueller, and Marlene Mueller; special friends: Linda and Jamie Fritz, Mike and Jane Stienke, and Ruth Horn.She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Butch” Mueller, on November 23, 1987; a daughter, Sharon Kreif, on August 31, 1997; two brothers: Raymond and Roger Kirschenstein and an infant sister.The visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 35 E. Second Street, Fond du Lac. The funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at church with Rev. Jon Cox officiating. Burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2008, with Rev. Michael J. Zuberbier officiating.Jeanette touched all of our lives with her love and kindness. She will be dearly missed by all of us. We love you Mom, Granny, Gigi.
