Patricia "Pat" R. Schwalbe

Patricia “Pat” R. Schwalbe, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, of Oshkosh, was born into eternal life on Thursday, November 25, 2021, with her loving husband by her side. She was born on September 8, 1943, in Manitowoc, WI, the daughter of Carl H. and Phyllis D. (Johnson) Meyers. She was baptized on October 16, 1943 and confirmed in her faith in April of 1957, both at First German Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. On August 22, 1964, she married Russell L. Schwalbe, at First German Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. Pat was a nurse for 43 years, with over 30 of those years working in Oncology. She managed the 1st and 12th Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinics. She was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, where she served as the chairperson for the Parish Nurses, attended Bible Class and was a member of the Ladies of Faith group. Her hobbies and interest included scrapbooking, photography, reading, bowling, boating with her family and any water sports. It was clear to everyone who met Pat that she cared deeply. Her love for her family, her friends, and Christ showed in everything she did. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Russell L. Schwalbe of Oshkosh, her children: Keith A. (Wendy) Schwalbe and their children: Kayla (Taylor), Katie (Andy) and Karley; James R. (Traycie) Schwalbe and their children: Amberly (Zach), Colten, Kesleigh, Westin; Scott D. (Lori) Schwalbe and their children: Jenna, Abby, Cooper, Lilly; and Susan L. (William) Tucknott and their children: William and Reina; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Duane (Denay) Oyen, Dianne Schroeder, Jeanne (James) Thies and Jon (Jean) Schwalbe; and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Lynne Oyen and Ginger (Carl) Schwarz, and her great-granddaughter Reagan, her in-laws Elroy and Loretta Schwalbe and her brother-in-law Dennis Schroeder. VISITATION: Friends may call from 12:30 – 3:00 PM, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 55 Prairie Road, Fond du Lac. SERVICE: Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, with Rev. Michael Weigand officiating. Private family burial will take place at Rienzi Cemetery on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
