Ronald L. Lueck

Ronald L. Lueck, 78, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully at home with his children by his side on Friday, April 2, 2021. He was born on August 19, 1942, in Fond du Lac, the son of Victor and Nelita Immel Lueck. He was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy. He served in the United States Army 1st Infantry Division from 1964-1966, serving in Vietnam. On October 28, 1967, he married his best friend Katherine A. Vossekuil in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on August 5, 2014. Ronald retired from Saputo in 2005. He is a member of Eagles Club Aerie #270, American Legion, VFW, Foot of the Lake and Friendship Fishing Clubs. Ronald enjoyed camping at Flanagan’s Pearl Lake, fishing, hunting, watching the Packers, Brewers, Badgers and Nascar. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by his children: Vickie (Randy) Lackey of Waupun, Shella (Mike) Baguio of Kenosha, Trent Lueck of Fond du Lac, Ronald (Amber) Lueck II of Horicon, and Tanya Hinojosa of Fond du Lac; his grandchildren: Bradley Lueck, Sherman (Amber) Lackey, Kealoha, Kalani and Kahala Baguio, Jacob (Katie) Lueck, Malachi, Nevaeh, Zion and Kathryn Lueck, Allie and Cali Spittel, Kaylee and Kaleb Hinojosa, and one great grandson, Creed Lueck. His siblings: Norman (Doris) Lueck, Audrey Borzick, Joannie Kamphuis, Kathleen (Pete) Ochs, Lois Peters and Bobby (Beth) Lueck; and other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Katherine, his son Kevin Lueck, his brother, Norbert Lueck, his sisters: Barbara Kessler and Doris Brotherton, his brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. VISITATION: Friends may call from 10:00 – 1:00 PM on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac. Masks are required for those in attendance. SERVICE: Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory. Military gravesides services will be conducted by Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75.
