Yvonne "Bonnie" C. Ridley

Yvonne “Bonnie” Carol Ridley, passed away at the age of 88, on February 11, 2025, at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Frank and Paula Bowe in Portage, WI, on November 19, 1936. Bonnie grew up in Fond du Lac and graduated from Saint Mary’s Springs Academy in 1955. Bonnie married Robert Ridley on April 28, 1990. They lived in Altoona, WI, and Sun City West, AZ. Bob and Bonnie loved to travel. Over their 35 years of marriage, they visited 37 countries, including China, Australia, New Zealand, and Israel. Bonnie loved playing golf, canoeing, camping, sailing, reading, and playing card games. She enjoyed selling Mary Kay Cosmetics, helping women look beautiful and feel confident. Her faith was very important to her and she was a devout Catholic all her life. She participated in many activities at the Jesuit Retreat House. Bob and Bonnie participated in a special meditation group in Sun City West. One of Bonnie’s greatest joys was spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her love for them was evident in her beautiful smile that lit up the room whenever they were together. She is survived by her loving husband, Bob, and her children: Lori Deitte (Mark Rice), Mary Wendt (Mike), Judy Culshaw, Lisa McCarty, and Dan Deitte (Jennifer Mahan-Deitte). She is also survived by her three step-children, Mike Ridley, Robyn Meyer (Wally), and Tim Ridley (Jill). She is survived by her 14 grandchildren: Amanda Smith (Matt), Kevin Rice (Erin), Scott Rice, Mike Blanck, Victoria Krumbein (Noah), Ashley Blanck, Tommy Culshaw, Katie Culshaw, Kelly Culshaw, Tony McCarty (Jordan), Brian McCarty, Ivy Mahan-Deitte, Sienna Mahan-Deitte, and Olivia Mahan-Deitte. She is survived by five step-grandchildren: Sydni French (Jonathon Nesemeier), Gabie French, Gabe Meyer, Madison Woodell (Benjamin), and Cy Ridley. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is survived by three sisters: Brenda Bowe, Shelia Pottern (Les), and Marsha Reilley (Mike). She is also survived by one brother-in-law, Tony Cobb. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Paula Bowe, her sister, Betty Cobb, and her grandchild, Melissa Blanck. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the medical staff at SSM Health for their loving care and to the Hospice Home of Hope for their compassionate end-of-life care. Their dedication and support during this difficult time were invaluable. A celebration of her life is planned for a later date.
